About these terms

These terms apply when you use keishakells.com or buy from BYD CoCo LLC, doing business as Keisha Kells (“we,” “us”). You can reach us at info@keishakells.com. Our mailing address is 849 Fairmount Ave, Ste 200 #1001, Towson, Maryland, United States.

By using the site or buying from us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or buy. You must be 18 or older to buy from us.

What we offer

• The Permission Pattern™ Reflection — a free, five-question reflective tool.
• Letters From Permission — a free email list. Letters arrive occasionally, when there is something worth saying, with no fixed schedule.
• The Cost of Admission — our book, available as a paperback and for pre-order.
• Permission Granted™ — a 12-week guided program with weekly lesson releases, worksheets, and tools.
• The Circle — an optional paid membership add-on to Permission Granted™, with a live weekly call. It is not included with the program unless you choose it at checkout.
• VIP Intensive — a private, three-day engagement, by application.

No guarantee of results

We share our best thinking and tools. We cannot promise any particular result, such as income, growth, or a specific change in your life or business. What you get from a program depends on what you do with it. You are responsible for your own decisions and business activities.

Permission Granted™

How it works. After you buy, you will receive an email to set up your student account on our course platform. Your 12 weeks begin on the date you enroll. Module 1 opens right away, and each later module opens on a weekly schedule counted from your enrollment date. Weeks 4 and 8 are integration weeks with no new material. Within each week, you move through the lessons and worksheets at your own pace.

Access. You have access to the program for as long as BYD CoCo LLC continues to offer it, including updates we make to it. This is not a promise of perpetual or lifetime access. We reserve the right to update or change the platform used to deliver the program. If we discontinue the program, we will make reasonable efforts to give you advance notice and let you keep copies of downloadable materials, where possible.

Price and payment plan. You can pay in full for $697, or pay in three monthly payments of $249, for a total of $747. If you choose the payment plan, your first payment is charged at checkout and the next two are charged automatically each month on the same date. You agree to make all three payments. The payment plan cannot be canceled by you after the 7-day guarantee period ends, and all three payments remain due. If a payment fails, our payment processor may try the charge again, and we may contact you to update your payment details, which you can do through the Customer Hub link in your receipt email. If the payment cannot be completed after repeated attempts, the plan or membership may be canceled and we may pause your access until the balance is resolved.

Refunds — our 7-day guarantee. Try the work for 7 days. To qualify for a refund, you must complete all of the Module 1 exercises and, within 7 calendar days of your purchase date, email info@keishakells.com to confirm you have completed them, attach your completed Module 1 worksheets, and request a refund. Complete means you have worked through every Module 1 worksheet. If you are on the payment plan, the guarantee applies the same way: we will refund the payments you have made and cancel the remaining ones. After the 7 days, purchases are final, except where the law requires otherwise. We use your worksheets only to process your refund request. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, and your bank or card issuer may take several business days to show them. This is the same promise shown at checkout.

The Circle

The Circle is an optional monthly membership at $247 per month. Your first payment is charged at checkout. After that, you are charged each month on the same date you joined, for as long as your membership is active.

It renews automatically each month until you cancel. You may cancel at any time. You can cancel yourself using the Customer Hub link in your receipt email, or you can email info@keishakells.com and we will cancel it for you and confirm by email. Cancellation stops future charges, and your access continues through the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Payments for a billing period that has already started are nonrefundable, except where the law requires otherwise.

Live calls are on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm ET on Zoom, and we may reschedule when needed. Recordings of calls, when we provide them, are an optional resource for members and are not a substitute for attending live. We do not guarantee that every call will be recorded.

The Cost of Admission (the book)

The paperback is sold through our payment processor. Shipping times are estimates, not guarantees. Pre-orders ship on or after the release date, and if there is a significant delay we will let you know by email. If your book arrives damaged, defective, lost in transit, or is not what you ordered, email info@keishakells.com within 30 days of delivery and we will replace it or refund you. We do not accept returns of books that have been read or used because of a change of mind. If we approve a return, please contact us first, then send it to BYD CoCo LLC, 849 Fairmount Ave, Ste 200 #1001, Towson, Maryland, United States. Please contact info@keishakells.com with any order issue.

VIP Intensive

VIP Intensive is by application. If we accept your application, the scope, dates, fee, and terms will be set out in a separate written agreement, and that agreement controls over these terms for that engagement.

Our materials and how you may use them

Our original content, educational materials, proprietary frameworks, and branded materials are owned by or licensed to BYD CoCo LLC, as applicable. The ™ symbol identifies marks we claim, such as Permission Granted™ and The Permission Pattern™. It does not mean they are federally registered.

What you can do. Nothing in these terms prevents you from applying the knowledge, insights, and skills you gain through the program to your own life, work, business, or professional activities. When you buy, we also give you a personal, non-transferable license to use our materials for yourself.

What you cannot do. You may not:

• share your login or give others access to the program,
• copy, resell, or distribute our materials to colleagues, clients, or other third parties,
• upload our materials to AI tools or other services in order to reproduce or redistribute them,
• teach our proprietary frameworks as your own, or create derivative or competing educational products from our materials,
• use our materials in your own workshops, trainings, or coaching programs without our written permission,
• record or share live calls without permission.

You own the original responses, reflections, and materials you create yourself, including your answers in the worksheets. That does not give you ownership of the frameworks or proprietary materials we used to guide them.

Community conduct (The Circle and live calls)

To keep the space safe and useful for everyone:

• No harassment, discrimination, or personal attacks.
• No solicitation, spam, or unsolicited promotion.
• Keep what others share in the group confidential. Do not share another member’s personal information or contributions outside the community.
• Do not record or distribute discussions without permission.

We may suspend or remove anyone whose conduct violates these rules or harms the group, using reasonable discretion. We will not remove someone simply for disagreeing with us. If we remove you for misconduct, we do not refund the current billing period.

Third-party services

We deliver our work through third-party services. ThriveCart handles checkout, receipts, and course delivery, Stripe processes payments, MailerLite sends our emails, and Zoom hosts our live calls. Their availability and terms are outside our control, and we are not responsible for interruptions in those services. Using them may also mean agreeing to their terms.

Electronic communications

By buying or signing up, you agree that we may email you about your orders, your access, and your membership. Buying a program does not sign you up for marketing emails. If you join our email list, we may send marketing emails, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.

Billing questions and disputes

If you have a question about a charge, please email info@keishakells.com first so we can try to fix it quickly. This does not limit your right to contact your bank or card issuer or any legal right you have.

Testimonials and examples

Stories and testimonials on the site reflect individual experiences and are not a promise that you will have the same results. Where we give anyone compensation or an incentive for a testimonial, or have another material connection, we will disclose it where required.

Disclaimers and limits of liability

The site and our materials are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of the site or our programs, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product the claim relates to. Some places do not allow these limits, and nothing here excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you buy applies to that purchase, and changes do not alter a purchase or payment obligation you have already made. For recurring memberships, we will tell you about material changes by email before they take effect.
