This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, our free Permission Pattern™ Reflection, our email list (Letters From Permission), and our paid programs, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you take the Permission Pattern™ Reflection
- Your first name and email address.
- Your Permission Pattern result.
- Your answer to where you most want to show up (in your business, your career, or your personal life), if you choose to give it.
We do not store your individual answers to the five reflection questions. We store only your result and the details above.
When you join Letters From Permission
- Your email address.
When you contact us or apply for VIP Intensive
- Contact form: your name, email address, what you are building (if you say), and your message.
- VIP Intensive application: your name, email address, what you are building, your current stage, your goals, and your timeline.
When you buy something
- Your name, email address, and billing address, and the payment details you enter at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe through our checkout platform. We do not see or store your full card number.
- We receive order details such as what you bought and whether your payment succeeded.
When you use our program
- Your student account details and your progress, which are held on our course platform.
- If you join The Circle, your name and email address are used to send you the call details.
What is collected automatically
- Basic technical information, such as your browser, device, and approximate location, collected by our hosting provider and the tools described below.
- Whether you open our emails and which links you click, collected by our email provider.
How we use your information
- To show you your Reflection result and send you the emails you asked for.
- To provide and run our programs, including access to course content and live calls.
- To process payments, send receipts, and handle refunds.
- To reply to your messages and review VIP Intensive applications.
- To send you emails about your result and our work. Letters From Permission is sent occasionally, when there is something worth saying, with no fixed schedule.
- To understand how the site and emails are used, and improve them.
- To meet legal and tax obligations and protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for their work:
- MailerLite — sends our emails and stores our email list, including your name, email, Reflection result, and email activity.
- ThriveCart — checkout, receipts, course delivery, and the Customer Hub where you can update your billing details or manage a subscription.
- Stripe — payment processing, including book pre-orders.
- Netlify — hosts our website and holds the messages sent through our contact and VIP application forms, which are also emailed to us.
- Zoom — hosts the live calls for The Circle.
- Google Fonts and similar services — deliver fonts and code used to display our pages, which means your browser connects to them when a page loads.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business.
Your Reflection result
Your Permission Pattern result is a reflective tool, not a diagnosis. We use your result to send you your reflection and related emails, and we do not use it to make decisions about you beyond that.
Email and your choices
- Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Using it stops those emails to that address.
- If you have bought something, we may still send you messages about your purchase, your access, and your membership.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing info@keishakells.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some records for legal, tax, or accounting reasons.
- You can update your billing details or manage a subscription through the Customer Hub link in your receipt email.
- Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights over your information. Email us to use them.
Cookies
Our website and the tools we use may set cookies or use similar technology to make pages work and to understand usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work if you do.
How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, for example while you are on our email list or enrolled in a program, and afterward as needed for legal, tax, and accounting records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, and we rely on established providers to protect data. No online service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our site and programs are for adults, 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Our site may link to other websites, such as checkout pages and social profiles. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, if the changes are significant, tell you by email or on the site.
